Our mission is to advocate for justice and freedom for Mahdi Ali, wrongfully incarcerated at 15. Join us in raising awareness and support for his cause.
Mahdi Ali, born in a Kenyan refugee camp, was trafficked to the U.S. at age nine and ultimately abandoned in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
After fleeing group homes, he attended Sanford Middle School where he first learned English, and later Roosevelt and South High.
In 2010, at age 15, he was arrested for a triple homicide at Seward Halal Market, and ultimately convicted in 2011 based on flawed evidence and false testimony. Mahdi is currently serving life without parole.

We are dedicated to informing the public about Mahdi Ali's wrongful incarceration at a young age.
Our goal is to engage individuals in Minnesota and beyond, inspiring them to take action and stand up for justice.
